OCD can remove scratches, oxidisation, swirl marks, cobweb scratches, bird stains, water marks, machine buffer marks and much more to restore your paintwork to its original state. To remove paintwork damage from a customer's car we first take multiple readings per body panel from digital paint depth gauges that can read down to less than a tenth of a micron. We then record these readings into a spreadsheet and refer to them during the paintwork correction process.
The paintwork is carefully re-levelled taking readings from the paint depth gauge at regular intervals to compare to the reference figures taken prior to paint correctional work. This ensures only the absolute minimum amount (less than 2%) of paint is removed to produce perfect blemish free paintwork. Using this process OCD can restore any vehicle paintwork regardless of age or condition. This service provided by OCD has been likened to having a full re-spray performed.
Our customers have been pleasantly surprised in cases where we were a last resort before a visit to the body shop. Once the paintwork correction has been completed OCD will then follow up with the necessary glaze, sealant and wax to produce a finish that looks better than when it was new using tried and tested finishing methods.
